Our mission

We believe energy efficiency should be simple, financially attractive and verifiable. That is why we have automated the CAE system on a single platform.

At Sanwa we take care of auditing the savings, validating them with an accredited body and connecting them with Obligated or Delegated Parties. You decide to carry out the action; we do the rest.

Two ways to process your CAE

End users and companies/self-employed, managed with different workflows.

We work with you in the way that fits your profile. If you have a one-off CAE, we handle it directly; if you operate at volume, we open the platform to you.

Zero hassle

We take care of the savings calculation, the documentation, the verification and the connection with the Delegated Party. You don't lift a finger on paperwork.

A free service for you

You pay nothing: not before, not during, not after. And we combine the value of the CAE with IDAE grants and tax deductions to minimise the remaining cost of each action.

Verified and auditable savings

Actions are backed by qualified installers and verification by accredited bodies in accordance with Real Decreto 36/2023.

How we work

Short timelines, immediate payment and full control over every case file.

The four pillars that set Sanwa's CAE operations apart from any traditional agency or intermediary.

  1. Timeline

    We process in 2–3 months

From registering the case file on the platform to the issuance and settlement of the certificate. Our automation engine removes the usual documentation and verification bottlenecks.

  2. Payment

We pay you the same week the CAE is issued

You don't wait for the Delegated Party to pay us before you get paid. When the certificate is issued, we settle it against your account within that same weekly cycle.

  3. Fee

You decide how much fee you keep on each operation

The end client chooses at their own discretion, case file by case file, what fee they keep. Sanwa passes on the rest of the settlement in full, and the traceability stays on the platform.

  4. Visibility

You see everything, in real time, at all times

Case-file status, certified kWh, estimated amount and final amount, agreed fee, attached documentation and conversations with the Delegated Party — accessible 24/7 from the platform.

We centralise coordination with installers, verifying bodies and Obligated/Delegated Parties. You only decide to carry out the action and choose the fee.

Missing documentation?

We process every document associated with the CAE: legalisations, certificates and technical reports.

Many CAEs require prior documentation: legalisation before the Industry authority, regional registration, the Energy Performance Certificate (CEE before and after) or technical reports. If the action doesn't have them yet, it's not a problem — we process all the documents associated with the case file in parallel, from the same platform and our full catalogue of services.

How it works

Two paths to the CAE, depending on who you are.

If you're an individual, we sort it out by talking to you. If you're a company or self-employed, you launch and supervise it from the platform.

Like a conversation

Hi, I've done an energy-efficiency renovation at home and I've been told it can be monetised.
Great! Tell us what you've done: boiler, air-source heat pump, insulation, windows...?
I replaced the old boiler with a heat pump last month.
Perfect, that falls under the RES060 datasheet. Send us the invoice, the owner's details and a couple of photos of the installation.
Sending them over now.
Got it. We calculate the savings, verify them with an ENAC-accredited body and submit them to MITECO.
In 2–3 months the certificate will be issued — and the same week we'll pay the amount into your account.
Perfect. No paperwork on my side.

No need to use platforms. No paperwork.

From the platform

  1. 01

    Registration

    You upload the case file

From the web form, bulk CSV upload or an API call. The platform detects the applicable CAE datasheet.

  2. 02

    Calculation

    Automatic report and calculation

The engine generates the technical report and the savings calculation following the official methodologies, with no manual intervention.

  3. 03

    Signature

    Paperless digital signature

The owner and installer sign from the platform itself. The case file is then ready for verification.

  4. 04

    Processing

    Case-file verification

We package the case file and send it to an ENAC-accredited certifier, which validates the savings independently. From there it goes to the regional manager and to MITECO.

  5. 05

    Tracking

    Real-time status

Every status change, validation or document request appears on your dashboard instantly.

  6. 06

    Settlement

Fee and payment configurable per case file

You define the fee for each operation and the platform automatically distributes the settlement the week it is issued.

Tracking, fees and settlement, in a single panel.

Savings cession chain

The savings are ceded directly from the user to Sanwa.

The right to the savings never passes through the installer: the end user always cedes it directly to Sanwa. From there, the official chain reaches the Obligated Party that pays for the CAE. Some intermediate links are optional depending on the case.

  1. 1

    End user

The party that carries out the efficiency action (home, industry, tertiary sector...). They cede the savings directly to Sanwa.

  2. 2

    Sanwa

We receive the cession of the savings, calculate them, handle the verification and connect with the Delegated or Obligated Party.

  3. 3Optional

    Sujeto Delegado

Groups case files together to submit them to the Obligated Party. Optional depending on the case.

  4. 4

    Sujeto Obligado

An energy retailer legally obliged to meet a savings quota. It is the party that pays for the CAE.

And the installer, manufacturer or engineering firm?

Their role is document management: they collect from the end client the photos of the action, the invoices and the rest of the documentation needed to process the case file. They are not part of the cession chain — the savings are always ceded directly from the end user to Sanwa — but they are paid for that time and work of collection.

* The Sujeto Delegado is optional: Sanwa can deliver the certificate directly to the Sujeto Obligado when the case allows it.

Profiles

  • 01What are Energy Savings Certificates (CAE)?
CAEs are an official mechanism regulated by Real Decreto 36/2023 that allows energy-efficiency actions to be financed. When an action is carried out (insulation, heat pump, LED lighting…), the energy savings generated are calculated, verified and turned into a certificate with economic value that Obligated Parties acquire.
  • 02How much can a CAE contribute to an action?
It depends on the calculated energy savings and the sector, but combined with IDAE grants and tax deductions they can cover a very high percentage of the cost of the works. Sanwa carries out a personalised study for each case file.
  • 03How much does it cost to process a CAE with Sanwa?
Nothing: it's a free service for the client. You pay nothing before, during or after processing, and you are also the one who decides the fee retained on each case file.
  • 04Why is the service free?
Because our business is not about charging you to process: Sanwa makes its profit by negotiating the certified savings with the Obligated and Delegated Parties. That is why the service has no cost for you — you only collect your settlement.
  • 05Do you also manage the documents associated with the CAE?
Yes, all of them. If the action is missing the legalisation before the Industry authority, the regional registration, the Energy Performance Certificate (before or after) or the technical report, we process them in parallel from the same platform so the CAE case file is not held up.
  • 06What kind of actions can be certified?
Façade and roof insulation, window replacement, installation of air-source and heat pumps, condensing boilers, LED lighting, efficient HVAC systems and many more, spread across the 5 economic sectors of the official catalogue.
  • 07Do you only work with installers?
We serve the whole chain: installers and ESEs that carry out the action, companies renovating their facilities, and Obligated/Delegated Parties that need to acquire verified certificates. Each party finds the right workflow on the platform.
  • 08How long does the process take?
The average time from registering the case file to settling the CAE is 2–3 months. Sanwa's automation removes the documentation and verification bottlenecks that typically lengthen the cycle.
  • 09When do I get paid after the certificate is issued?
We pay you in the same week the CAE is issued. You don't wait for the Delegated Party to settle with us: we pass that same weekly cycle on to your account.
  • 010How is the fee my company keeps decided?
You decide the fee, case file by case file, at your discretion. It is recorded on the platform alongside the rest of the operation's data so traceability is complete.
  • 011What visibility do I have over the status of each case file?
Full and in real time. Case-file status, certified kWh, estimated amount and final amount, agreed fee, attached documentation and messages with the Delegated Party, all accessible 24/7 from the platform.
