How Sanwa processes the personal data of its clients and users.

This privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data that Sanwa (hereinafter, «Sanwa») carries out on its clients within its websites, apps and any other digital platform or electronic medium, including the processing of social-media users' data and depending on their relationship with Sanwa. Likewise, this policy applies to the processing of personal data of potential clients in connection with campaigns, the organisation of events and activities, prize draws and promotions.
Who is responsible for processing your data?
Sanwa Energía S.L., with CIF B-56468002 and registered office at Carretera de El Plantío 80, 28221 Majadahonda, Madrid, is the controller of the data relating to data subjects and guarantees its security and confidential processing, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any other applicable regulations.

For what purpose do we process your personal data?
a) Processing of client and user data on digital platforms
- Registration and management of user accounts.
- Handling enquiries and requests received through forms.
- Cookies and profiling based on the user's activity.
- Contracting of services, including consulting solvency files or SIPS where applicable.
- Updating against public databases to keep the information accurate.
- Sending commercial communications about products and services.
- Use of dissociated data for statistical purposes.
b) Potential clients' data in promotions, campaigns and events
- Promotions and prize draws, with the possible publication of image or voice subject to prior consent.
- Communication campaigns with data from public sources and profiling for commercial purposes.
Web analytics (Google Analytics)
On this website we use Google Analytics 4, an analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (and, where applicable, Google LLC in the USA), for the purpose of measuring website use in a pseudonymised way and improving our content and services. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which we obtain through the cookie notice and which you can withdraw at any time from the «Configure cookies» link in the footer.
We apply Google's consent mode (Consent Mode): until you accept, analytics works without cookies or identifiers. Google acts as a processor and may carry out international transfers to the USA covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses. How long will we keep your data?
a) Digital platforms: for the duration of the relationship and a minimum of three years after termination. Commercial communications: two years after termination. Other users: until a removal request is made.
b) Potential clients: the supplier's term (generally one year) or the duration of the campaign; data collected directly: two years from collection.
What is the legal basis for the processing?
The user's consents, the contractual relationship, the regulations applicable to the supply of electricity and gas, and the legitimate interests of Sanwa. The user must be of legal age to register.
To which recipients will your data be disclosed?
a) Clients and users
Distribution Company (SIPS), service providers (call centres, debt recovery, marketing, auditing, banks), solvency files, tax authorities (Ley 58/2003, Ley 36/2006) and vulnerable-consumer bodies (RD 897/2017). When the user consents, also Google (Google Analytics) as a processor for web analytics. International transfers outside the EU may take place under AEPD authorisations TI-00114-2010 and TI-00166-2009, as well as, in Google's case, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
b) Potential clients
Communication agencies, events, photographers, insurers and third-party collaborators strictly for managing the campaign.
What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing (article 18 GDPR), withdrawal of consent, objection, contesting automated decisions, and portability.
